In Australia yesterday Daniel Geale retained his IBF Middleweight title with a comprehensive points victory over Anthony Mundine. Geale dominated the vast majority of the fight from start to finish and never really looked in any danger. The only time Mundine had any success was in the 8th when he momentarily rocked Geale with a right hand. Other than that Geale ran out easy winner in all honesty. It will be interesting to see who his next opponent is with the Middleweight division being so stacked at the moment.
On the under card street fighting legend Kevin Ferguson aka ‘Kimbo Slice’ moved to 7-0 as a professional in his new found career following a brief stop in mixed martial arts. However it all nearly came crashing down for him when he was dropped in the very first round to which he bravely got up from. But a savage body shot in the second round was enough to clinch victory for the aging Slice, who’s chin is certainly questionable for him to become a real heavyweight contender.
