With two scuppered fights last year involving Devon Alexander falling through for injury reasons, could this be the year Kell Brook finally gets his crack at the world title? With Sean Porter having upset the odds to beat Alexander to claim the IBF crown in late 2013 many are speculating that this could finally be the year that “Special K” finally fulfils his potential and becomes world champion.
A warm up fight has been muted for Kell in March but after that one would surely think that he will once again be in the mandatory position needed to force a challenge at the IBF title.
