GGG WILLING TO FIGHT MAYWEATHER PACQUIAO WINNER
Well, this is one man who isn’t afraid to fight the best opposition out there. Yesterday at a press conference announcing his next fight, GGG made it quite clear that he would have no problem taking on the winner of Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao after May 2nd and could come down to the 154 lbs light middleweight limit for such a bout.
Golovkin has another opponent to worry about first in the form of American southpaw Willie Monroe Jr, whom he was promoting the fight with at yesterday’s press conference. The bout is scheduled for May 16th in Inglewood California and will be shown live on HBO. GGG will likely start as a big favourite going into the contest.
Getting people in the ring with this guy must be a formidable challenge in itself, given the carnage he’s left behind in terms of KO’d foes as of late. It seems like very few top level fighters want to go anywhere near him at the moment and it would be hard to see a Mayweather or Pacquiao being brave enough to do so in the future.
Check out what the man of the hour in world boxing had to say on taking on a potential Mayweather Pacquiao fight winner below.
