Will Carl Froch Fight Again?
Eddie Hearn must be scratching his head trying to find an opponent for Carl Froch.

Julio Cesar Chavez JR was being lined up to fight Froch but after his embarrassing defeat to Andrzej Fonfara on Saturday night, I doubt many fans would like to see that fight.
Froch has said it’s his dream to fight in Las Vegas and was targeting Chavez JR but that fight looks dead in the water.
The WBA champion has been linked with a number of fighters like Gennady Golovkin, Bernard Hopkins and George Groves.
I doubt Froch would have any interest in fighting Hopkins and he’s already beaten Groves twice. In terms of fighting Golovkin, I doubt Froch would want to step in the ring with someone who is knocking people out for fun.
Froch, who has recently vacated his IBF belt could have fought his fellow countryman James De Gale who was mandatory for the belt (IBF) but he decided against it and dropped the belt.
The only real option for Carl at the moment looks like a rematch with Andre Ward, someone who has beaten him in the past.
Froch who is a big Nottingham Forrest fan who would love to fight at the City Ground (Nottingham’s home stadium) but Ward said he won’t fight in Nottingham. Ward is willing to travel to England but wants the fight to take place in London.
Carl is at a point in his career where he can call the shots but right now it’s not going his way. The fight with Chavez will not appeal to fans and Andre Ward won’t fight in Nottingham, a boxing conundrum.
So it seems Carl is at a crossroads, does he continue to wait and hope his dream fight in Vegas or Nottingham comes off or does he retire as Champion after a glittering career?
Only Carl can answer those questions but don’t be surprised if Carl Froch doesn’t fight again.
