Quigley – from Ballybofey knocked out opponent Joshua Snyder in the second round to take his record to 6-0- all by way of knockout.
The 23 year old was as impressive as ever in defeating Snyder- A man who had previously gone 12 rounds with Matt Korobov- The man Andy lee defeated in December for the WBO Middleweight strap.
Quigley dominated proceedings from the first bell and Snyder had no answers and looked very much out of his depth.
The former World Silver Medalist carries power in both hands and Snyder winced almost every time Quigley connected.
With 45 seconds gone in round 2 Quigley connected with a left hook followed by a right cross and the fight was over.
The commentators calling the fight for Fox Sports in the States were certainly impressed by the performance saying: “He (Quigley) has the goods- he has the goods in many ways- he’s got a good look, he gives an excellent interview, he’s got an excellent personality but most importantly he delivers in the ring”.
If he continues to impress in this manner over the next 18 months, sky is certainly the limit for this extremely talented young man.
