Brian Viloria Destroys Soto In 1 Round
The Hawaiian flyweight wasted little time on route to a dominant performance against Omar Soto on Saturday night in Hollywood, California.

The boxing world has been looking for an opponent perhaps worthy of stepping in the ring with, and challenging flyweight kingpin Roman Gonzalez.
It may now have found that man.
Former two division world champion Brian Viloria had been out of the ring for seven months, but any signs of ring rust were quickly dispelled inside the first minute of the contest, when he proceeding to drop an outclassed Omar Soto three times in the very first round.
In truth, Mexican Soto just didn’t have the type of firepower needed to keep someone as ferocious as Viloria off, and after taking an eight count for the first knockdown, he proceeded to be pasted again for another two knockdowns – before the referee had seen enough.
Brian Viloria who trains out of the Wild Card in Hollywood, didn’t have far to travel for his emphatic win last night and in reality barely got out of first gear.
Thoughts will now turn to a potentially mouthwatering clash with Gonzalez however, which current opinion suggests might very well take place on the undercard of middleweight destroyer Gennady Golvokin’s next big outing.
