Video: Sergey Kovalev Crushes Mohammedi In 3
The man nicknamed “Crusher” lived up to his name once again on Saturday night in Las Vegas.

WBO, WBA and IBF light-heavyweight champion of the world Sergey Kovalev wiped out his mandatory (IBF) challenger without barely breaking a sweat.
Nadjib Mohammedi, hailing from France, never knew what hit him.
After a feeling out process in the opening round, Kovalev got down to business in the second, dropping the challenger with a whirlwind of clubbing blows, which initially stemmed from a chopping overhand right.
Mohammedi tried to fight back courageously, but his efforts were in vein, as he was in the ring with perhaps the apex light-heavyweight fighting machine of the last decade, or so.
The inevitable end came for Mohammedi in the third round, when Kovalev landed a beautiful right hand which was followed by a ramrod jab, putting the challenger on one knee – who appeared to have some trouble with vision in one of his eyes at this point.
Although he just beat the count, the referee waived a halt to proceedings.
Afterwards Mohammedi pointed to a thumb in the eye as the reason why he was unable to continue, who was then taken to hospital.
Sergey Kovalev marches on, and until the day fight fans get to see the long craved unification matchup with him and WBC champion Adonis Stevenson, its hard to see how anyone can stop this freight train of a champion.
Here’s the third round where Kovalev closed the show last night:
