The Irish Olympian and professional standout prospect is set to make his New York debut later this month on August 25th at MCU Park in Coney Island.

The show is part of a big bill that has been put together by Promoter Dmitriy Salita, that will showcase a whole roster of talent besides Nevin.
John Joe, who has had some brushes with the law this year in his native Ireland, appears to be more focused again than ever on his career, having spent the majority of the summer in the States – getting top level sparring in the Philadelphia heat.
The 2012 Olympic silver medalist is 3-0 (2KO) as a professional and will be looking to give his career a significant kick start after some injury and outside the ring problems in recent years.
His opponent is still to be named but the opportunity will be substantial from a gaining experience and exposure point of view, particularly this early on into his pro campaign.
There’s no denying the talent that the 26 year old has and this no doubt will be great news to his loyal Irish boxing fans around the world who will be hoping to see him return to the ring in impressive fashion.
