On October 24th in Dusseldorf, Germany, the worlds of music and big time boxing will see perhaps their biggest collaboration ever – and meet in front of 55,000.

As reported by Jeff Powell of the Daily Mail, it is understood that legendary Scottish music icon Rod Stewart will be performing at the upcoming heavyweight championship of the world fight between Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury.
Stewart will be taking to the stage before the big fight gets underway, to get the whopping 55,000 spectators at the stadium event in the mood for the proceeding pugilistic action.
The two heavyweight giants were pleased with the news on Twitter:
Rod said he was “excited” to be part of the show, which has just got a hell of a lot bigger with his inclusion and likely will bring in an even bigger audience on TV/online.
The event is expected to be shown in over 100 countries around the world, and has already sold well over 40,000 tickets as reported a couple of weeks ago.
Apparently the champion (big Wlad) is a fan of Rod Stewart.
No doubt Tyson Fury will be looking to rain on his parade come October 24th, and will be looking to do his own bit of Rock ‘n’ Roll on the champion in their massive fight.
