There’s been a lot of things said in British boxing over the past couple of weeks surrounding promoter Eddie Hearn and his company Matchroom Sport, who have been at the center of a few strong comments from both his closest domestic promoting rivals, along with an abrupt parting of company from boxer Chris Eubank Jr.

Indeed, there’s perhaps been a bigger number of issues the Matchroom boss has had to contend with in recent weeks than in quite some time.
Be they from rival promoter Frank Warren making comments on Hearn’s exclusivity for pay per views fights on Sky, to Hennessy Sports saying he had a very limited part in negotiations in the Tyson Fury vs Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight title fight in Germany, to Chris Eubank Jr. and his father announcing their leaving of the Matchroom stable following Hearn losing a purse bid for a fight with British title holder Nick Blackwell.
