Rigondeaux Responds Candidly To Ring Magazine After Stripping Him Of Their Belt

Earlier this week Ring Magazine formally dropped Guillermo Rigondeaux as their 122lbs champion and the Cuban issued a rather entertaining response during the week.

Guillermo Rigondeaux travels to the UK to fight as a professional for the first time next month, when he takes on James ‘Jazza’ Dickens at the Echo Arena on March 12th live on BoxNation TV.

Rigondeaux (16-0-10KO) to the surprise of some, was relieved of the prestigious Ring title last week, where the respected publication admittedly said if was a: “tough decision.”

‘Rigo’ however has replied with a rather witty remark this week.

Some boxing fans will remember not long ago that Ring Magazine famously put female MMA starlet Ronda Rousey on the cover of their usually boxing focused magazine, and then came in for some flack after Rousey was sensationally knocked out in one of her UFC bouts by Holly Holm.
