It has now been made official that Anthony Joshua will fight Charles Martin for the IBF heavyweight championship of the world.

The boxing world was kept anxiously waiting all day during this year’s Valentines Day, as it was revealed early this morning by UK heavyweight star Anthony Joshua and then his promoter Eddie Hearn, that an announcement for Joshua’s next fight would come at 6pm today via Eddie Hearn’s twitter account.

The fight will take place on April 9th at London’s 02 Arena.
