Britain’s two leading boxing promoters have exchanged some heated words on Twitter.

Last night on Saturday March 12th, 2016, Manchester’s Terry Flanagan retained his WBO lightweight title at Liverpool’s Echo Arena when he outpointed Liverpool man Derry Matthews via a unanimous decision points victory.
Matchroom Sport head honcho Eddie Hearn subsequently expressed his disappointment at what the alleged ticket sales on the evening for the event were.
This prompted a response from the official Frank Warren twitter account, which then brought about another reaction from the verified Eddie Hearn Twitter profile.
