The Donegal man’s stellar middleweight boxing career continues to roll on.

Last night Jason Quigley extended his unbeaten record as a professional boxer to 10-0 (9 KO) with an emphatic first round knockout win over Mexican Freddy Lopez at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.
The fight was a late re-scheduled one for Quigley, but you wouldn’t have known it with the Irish man’s confident assurance in his work.
Quigley, who moved to the US a number of years ago to hook up with Golden Boy Promotions and pursue his world title ambitions, left little doubt about who was going to be the winner on the night – right from the opening bell.
The body shots were to prove to be the difference on the night, as Quigley reigned them in early on Lopez, who was dropped in the very first minute of round one.
Despite getting back to his feet, the body onslaught continued and when Lopez went down a second time in round one, he didn’t get back up.
