Danny Garcia Turned Down Pacquiao Fight For Considerable Money

Danny Garcia turned down Pacquiao bout in an offer that was worth millions it has emerged in a recent report.

Undefeated Garcia (32-0-18KO) last fought back in January at the Staples Center in California when he won a unanimous decision over Robert ‘The Ghost’ Guerrero.

Since then no fight has come to fruition for the WBC welterweight champion yet and indeed if you look at the last couple of years, Garcia has only fought three times in the last two years or so.

It emerged on Twitter today that the Manny Pacquiao fight was something that was presented to Garcia for later this year, but the offer was not good enough and turned down according to Marcos Villegas:

Speaking to @dannyswift says he was offered 3-4 million for manny. His dad got the offer and they said no

The Philadelphia man is certainly in a rot hot division at the moment at 147lbs, so one would imagine a big fight will be lined up sooner rather than later for him if he is turning down the likes of Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao for his part has been linked with a comeback in recent days for late 2016 by his promoter Bob Arum, only if he is able to train around his political duties in the Philippines however.
