Demand for the upcoming middleweight title fight in London appears to have been considerable, according to ticket sales times and figures.
Tickets for the WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO World Middleweight title clash between Gennady Golovkin and Kell Brook sold-out in just 11 minutes at The O2 box-office today.
Golovkin and Brook meet at the London venue on September 10 live on Sky Sports Box Office and HBO and fight fans have snapped up the tickets in a heartbeat to see pound-for-pound star Golovkin box in the UK for the first time against the unbeaten IBF World Welterweight champion.
Two more World title contests were added this week as bitter rivals Lee Haskins and Stuart Hall rematch, this time with Haskins’ IBF World Bantamweight crown on the line and Charlie Edwards lands a World title shot in just his ninth pro fight as he takes on IBF Flyweight king Johnriel Casimero.
Martin J. Ward and Andy Townend clash for the vacant British Super-Featherweight title and Conor Benn tastes his fourth night of action in the paid ranks, with more fights to be added soon.
