Another weekend of the sweet science has been and gone with some of it’s top fighting proponents in action. So what better time to update our top 10 pound for pound boxer list.
Pound for pound boxer ranking debates are always a stickler of contention, that much I know.
This summer and even a little before the start of it, we’ve seen wins for many of the world’s best pound for pound boxers including the likes of Sergey Kovalev, Vasyl Lomachenko, Terence Crawford, Guillermo Rigondeaux, Keith Thurman and others.
It’s been a couple of months that has seen some shaking up on the list in my view and a time over the summer to re-analyse what’s what and where who stands globally.
The upcoming Sergey Kovalev vs Andre Ward fight in November will obviously tell us a lot about how good both men are in comparison with one another, along with other fights such as Tyson Fury vs Wladimir Klitschko and Gennady Golovkin vs Kell Brook’s outcomes having possible effects on the list too.
It’s an always frustratingly hard one to decide upon, but here’s my attempt at our latest top 10 pound for pound boxers here.
Honourable mentions go to the likes of Keith Thurman, Kell Brook and Shinsuke Yamanaka who just miss out on our latest pound for pound list.
