Chris Eubank Jr has hooked up with his old mentor and trainer Floyd Mayweather senior this week as he continues to train hard, despite missing out recently on a huge fight with Gennady Golovkin.
Many fight fans may not be aware that Floyd Mayweather senior was actually one of Chris Eubank Jr’s first ever coaches.
He moved to Las Vegas from the UK in his teens when he old his father (Chris Eubank Sr) that he was serious about becoming a boxer.
Las Vegas being the fight capital of the world, what better place to forge a young man’s fighting skills if he’s serious about becoming a top fighter?
Fast forward a few years and Eubank Jr has progressed very well as a professional, with his only defeat to date coming against UK rival Billy Joe Saunders on a close decision.
This week Eubank Jr has been putting his skills on display with his old coach Floyd Mayweather Sr, as he looks to sign his next fight soon which is heavily linked to be against Tommy Langford:
