Lineal heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury wants the big fights right away over his next three bouts.
Fury has commenced full training camp again this week ahead of his rematch with Ukraine’s Wladimir Klitschko which is expected to take place in Manchester on October 29th.
Throughout the year however, he has also been linked with Britain’s IBF champion Anthony Joshua and America’s WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
Back and forth verbals on Twitter have been frequent, with Fury even getting into the ring with Wilder (after one of his fights) to call him out on US television earlier this year.
It seems now though, after the half way point in 2016, that the heavyweight division is really starting to take shape with it’s leading protagonists beginning to jostle for position to ultimately find out who indeed is the best of them all.
As things stand, Tyson Fury is the man – no questions for me. He beat the man who beat the man (as they say), when he defeated long reigning champion Klitschko last November.
But fans are fascinated at the prospect of him, Wilder and Joshua all fighting each other at some point as in many ways, these three men represent the new generation and era of the heavyweight division that we find ourselves immersed in once again.
Speaking on Twitter this week Tyson Fury gave his ideal series of fights over his next three bouts – in typically candid Tyson Fury style:
This year oct bitch Wlad. March 2017
