November 26th sees IBF heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua step out in the ring once again – this time in front of a Manchester crowd.
The IBF heavyweight champion will look to carry on his blistering form in the paid ranks with his second defence of his belt vs a yet to be confirmed opponent.
There has been a lot of speculation to who this is, with New Zealander Joseph Parker and Kubrat Pulev being touted as potential challengers for AJ’s sought after title.
The fighter will be looking to reproduce his spectacular performance from his last brief visit to the city in which he brutally stopped the German Konstantin Airich in the 3rd round; something which the Manchester crowd will be certainly hoping to witness again.
It’s anticipated that the event is going to be a sell-out, something which certainly bodes well for an electrifying atmosphere which is ever present at the heavyweight’s bouts.
Joshua’s down to Earth, approachable attitude outside the ring has capitulated the imagination of boxing fans from around the globe, bringing along fans from across the country to experience his journey with him.
The contrary can be said about him when he steps into the ring, however.

The heavyweight’s intimidating record (17-0-17KO) manifests the punching power of one the most feared young heavyweights on the planet.
The Londoner’s expedition in life hasn’t always been easy, though. Sparred from a life of crime, AJ looked to be heading down the wrong the path until boxing took over his life when he was 18.
Excelling in the ABA Championships; his rise through the ranks was rather prompt. Surely this was the start of something special he must have been thinking after coming close to jail time in the past.
Something special soon had indeed turned into something great.
With the arrival of the home Olympics in London 2012, it was Joshua’s opportunity to show the world of his talent. Spurred on by the home crowd he went on to achieve the unthinkable.
Standing on the podium to the national anthem as he was gifted the illustrious gold medal, his name was finally on everybody’s lips around the boxing world.
Time will tell if this still improving young heavyweight can reach the potential that may see for him over the next 12 months or so, as he now steps up his level of competition ahead of a planned heavyweight unification fight in Wembley next summer.
