Fury vs Klitschko Fight Date and Venue (Finally) Officially Confirmed

Although October 29th was always the date mentioned for the rematch between these two, the Fury vs Klitschko fight has now definitively been confirmed by the promoters and the official fight poster has been released.

For one reason or another this story dragged on a bit over the past few months, initially with an injury to the ankle of Tyson Fury that caused the rematch to be delayed, to then seemingly knowing that the fight was definitely back on for October 29th, to then Wladimir Klitschko saying he was going to court because he wasn’t happy with the terms of the fight.

Well, that’s all over now. We have a fight ladies and gentleman:

This will come as great news to not just fans of both fighters, but boxing fans as a whole, who want to see the best in the heavyweight division take each other on over the next 12 months.

The winner of this match will be in line for massive fights against the likes of Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua next year, with many predicting big time heavyweight boxing will be back.

Even further to this good news, fans who purchased tickets for the original rematch date will still have their tickets valid for the new date, Tyson’s uncle and trainer Peter confirmed:

All tickets already purchased for last fight are still valid.
