‘The Problem’ Adrien Broner returns to action in the early new year after a troubled 2016 that he is no doubt looking forward to seeing the back of.
Legal woes, suicidal social media posts and a lack of activity in the ring has made this year one to forget for the talented American.
Despite the negativity that has followed the four-weight world champion around this year, to his credit when he did fight against Briton Ashley Theophane back in April he did look impressive on route to a TKO victory.
Next up for Broner will be Adrian Granados (18-4-12KO) on February 11th as part of a Premier Boxing Champions night of action.
Granados has shared the ring with quality operators such as Felix Diaz and Brad Soloman in the past and will come into the fight on the back of a five fight win streak.
You’d have to say though that Broner will start as a warm favourite as he looks to get some positive momentum back into his boxing career and make a run at a world title once again in 2017.
Here’s highlights of what happened earlier this year when Broner last competed in a boxing ring via the PBC YouTube channel:
