Shannon Briggs on Haye: He Is A Disgrace To Great Britain

Shannon Briggs’ torment and relentless calling out of David Haye continues. This time the American is bringing Haye’s nationality into it.

It is still not known just yet who David Haye will fight in his next bout scheduled for December 10th but one thing is now clear – it won’t be against American Shannon Briggs.

Recently Haye revealed the reasons why as been a pay per view and business one but Briggs has subsequently said that was not true and that in fact he would have fought Haye on a non pay per view platform.

Briggs finds himself out in the cold at the moment looking to find an opponent himself before the year is out. But that has not stopped him labelling Haye as a chicken and a disgrace to his country.

He has compared Haye to legendary warriors Britain has produced through the years and how he is not in their league in this Instagram video post.

Shannon Briggs on Haye:

He chickened out. I just spoke to @Skysports and I told them that Haye is a disgrace to Great Britain ?? He’s no @LennoxLewis or @frankbrunoboxer or #HenryCooper he’s more like Benny Hill. #LETSGOCHAMPACTIVATED #LETSGOCHAMP #boycottdavidhaye #hayefriedchicken #skysports #davidhaye #boxing #boxinglife #boxinggloves #boxingnews

44 year old American Briggs (60-6-1-53KO) has fought just once this year.

A knockout victory coming on the undercard of a David Haye show in London back in May over Emilio Ezequiel Zarate at the O2 Arena.

Since losing heavily to Vitali Klitschko back in 2010 via unanimous decision Briggs has recorded nine straight victories in a row. Eight of them coming by way of stoppage.
