Lennox Lewis Wishes Tyson Fury Well In Recovery

Former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world Lennox Lewis has wished 28 year old heavyweight Tyson Fury well in his recovery at the moment.

Many will remember Lewis as the best heavyweight of his era having beaten the likes of Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson during his particular era.

One of the UK’s best ever fighters spoke to Sky Sports News on TV earlier today and of the Manchester heavyweight and former lineal champion Tyson Fury – Lewis had this to say:

“You can look at it like this. Obviously he’s got some problems that he’s dealing with and he’s seeking help for, which is important. Hopefully he can recover and actually come back and get his belts back. I don’t know the severity of the situation but I wish him all the best.”

He added:

“You know it’s interesting because I was talking to my friends the other day and they said well, you know, to win the heavyweight championship of the world only a couple of people can handle it. They said I handled it well and other people may find it too much for them. I don’t know what his situation is. Everyone is speculating.”

Fury appears to be in better spirits recently at least judging from this video and hopefully his recovery is a speedy and healthy one.
