Canelo training impressively with just one hand as he looks to make comeback in early 2017.
Mexican boxing star Canelo Alvarez is training hard at the moment despite a recent injury to his right hand that has forced him out until the new year.
The injury was sustained in his last match against Liverpool’s Liam Smith in Texas. A fight that Canelo won by stoppage for the WBO super-welterweight title.
Talks of the much clamoured for showdown with Gennady Golovkin for next year continue at the moment, but Golovkin must firstly get past the considerable task that is Danny Jacobs next year.
Provided this happens, the Canelo fight is then expected to happen then later in the new year. But one would imagine that Canelo himself will also need to take at least one more fight before getting in the ring with Golovkin next year.
He is definitely keeping busy as this latest Instagram post on his account shows:

Some nice technique and balance on display there, while keeping his right hand safe and out of the way.
Lets hope we see him back in the ring soon punching with full power in both hands again.
