Chisora and Whyte get into it on set in Sky Sports studios.
Yesterday it was reported that UK heavyweights Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte had to be separated by security before a street fight was about to break out live on set during filming.
The ‘Gloves Are Off’ is a popular boxing feature done between Sky Sports ahead of big fights where they essentially get two highly charged professional fighters to sit in front of each other, face to face before a fight.
The only buffer between them is former cruiserweight world champion and now boxing analyst Johnny Nelson.
That was not to prove to be enough when Chisora and Whyte collided however:

Yeah, that’s some genuine dislike there.
Luckily for the two boxers they were restrained in time before anything went any further which could have resulted in the fight being cancelled.
It is not clear yet if the pair will face disciplinary action for the incident but no doubt Sky Sports will be re-thinking their security measures for such shows after this.
It makes for great television these type of incidents. No doubt about that. But purists of the sport have slammed these antics as a poor attempt at trash talk gone wrong.
