Floyd Mayweather senior has chimed in on the whole ongoing sage surrounding speculation about a boxing match between his son and Irish UFC fighter Conor McGregor.
Not a day goes by nowadays it seems in the combat sports world without someone well known having something to say on the Mayweather – McGregor situation.
The latest to weigh in with his thoughts is none other than Floyd’s father, Floyd Mayweather senior. Speaking to ES News on all the talk between the two Mayweather Senior said:
“If he knows what’s good for his a** he better go somewhere and sit down.”
On how he’d fair himself in a straight boxing match with McGregor, the 64 year old said:
“If they want me to fight him, I’ll fight him. I’d knock his ass out. I’m going to tell you this right here, if he ain’t fighting with no feet and stuff like that, that’s a whole different story. That’s going to be with Floyd too they ain’t going to let him fight with no damn feet I’m pretty sure. So I’m just going to tell you this right here, I would put him to sleep.”
