Southampton featherweight Ryan Garner spoke to 4c Sports Media head of the “Home Coming” show at Southampton Guildhall December 3rd.
Ryan who was recently signed by Frank Warren of BoxNation and expressed his enthusiasm about the recent news regarding the newly aligned partnership between BT and BoxNation:
“It’s really good news. Obviously more fights because they have to put on more shows. A busy fighter is a happy fighter.”
There is much anticipation surrounding the 18 year from Southampton who recently impressed on the Enzo Maccarinelli and Liam Walsh undercards live on Boxnation.
Signed before his professional debut by Frank Warren, there is a sense the featherweight could go on to World titles one day.
When asked on how far he can go in boxing, Ryan Garner told 4c Sports Media:
“All the way. What’s the point in being in the game if your not going to aim for big things! I believe I have the potential to do so and I got bags of time.”
Garner who won European Gold, three national titles and represented England 19 times as an amateur, is co-headlining the December 3rd show in his hometown of Southampton.
With bags of ability and a fan-friendly style, the atmosphere on December 3rd promises to be electric at the O2 Southampton Guildhall:
“It’s going to be mental. You’ll see, It’s nearly sold out” Garner said ahead of his 3rd pro fight.”
