David Haye and Tony Bellew were one time bitter rivals but after their two fights things changed for the better. Haye showed great sportsmanship to Bellew this weekend after his KO loss to Usyk.
Ultimately Bellew beat Haye the two occasions he fought him in what were both upset wins at the time with the bookmakers.
Speaking in front of Fight Hype, Haye embraced Bellew this weekend and said:
“Ah f***^^g hell he was there. You was winning that s***. You did everything humanly possible!”
Indeed he did.
The shot that set up the finish in the end from Usyk was left open for him from a wild swing by Bellew followed by another one which left him open again for the final shot that closed the show.
How Bellew actually finished the fight on his feet with the referee calling it off after a punch like that is testament to the determination and spirit the man has.
