As the boxing calendar draws to a close in 2016 we wanted to give boxing readers an update on Prichard Colon latest news in what has been a difficult time for him and his family this year.
Prichard Colon latest news suggests the Puerto Rican warrior is still fighting and battling as hard as ever with medical problems following a tragic night in the ring last year.
This night came against boxer Terrel Williams late last year on October 17th, 2015 in a boxing ring in Fairfax, Virginia, USA.
For fans not familiar with the story, prior to the bout Puerto Rican super-welterweight Prichard Colon was an undefeated rising star 16-0 (13KO) but tragedy was to strike in the squared circle on the night.
The fight ended in disqualification and Colon was hit numerous times behind the back of the head during the contest, resulting in him sadly going into a coma and still fighting hard for his life to this day.
We were only made aware of this GoFundMe page by his family and friends to raise funds to help with Prichard’s medical expenses during the week.
