Watch: Mayweather Tells Amir Khan To His Face That He Wants To Comeback and Needs A Dance Partner

Floyd Mayweather tells Amir Khan he needs a ‘Dance Partner’.

Talks of a Floyd Mayweather comeback to boxing have been frequent throughout 2016 to put it lightly.

Between being linked with a fight against old rival Manny Pacquiao, to links with a boxing match against Conor McGregor, the former pound for pound number one boxer has had his name mentioned quite a bit this year.

Despite officially still being retired. At least on paper.

The latest fighter that has been attached once again with Mayweather’s name is a man who at one time looked like he was very close to actually securing a bout with the American boxer.

That is of course Britain’s Amir Khan, who was thought to be the front runner to fight Mayweather around the time Mayweather first fought super tough Argentinian Marcos Maidana.

Only for Maidana to land the fight instead, and then securing a second bout with Mayweather after that.

Mayweather and Khan have been at the WBC convention in Miami this week and here’s what Mayweather had to say to Khan when the two met:

The two certainly looked on friendly terms there and with both fighters boasting very large social media followings, one would think the fight would still generate quite of lot of interest around the world.

Khan last boxed in May of this year when he was knocked out by Mexican Canelo Alvarez in conclusive fashion, while Mayweather’s last appearance in a boxing ring came in September 2015 when he outpointed Andre Berto.
