2016 produced many entertaining fights and rounds around the world of boxing. But was this the very best round of 2016 between Robert Easter Jr and Richard Commey for the IBF lightweight title (round 9)? Lets take a look back.
The fight was for the vacant IBF lightweight world title at the Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, USA and proved to be a fun filled, action packed, competitive affair.
Easter eventually came away with the win but only by split decision and took his record to 18-0 (14KO) as the new year approaches for him.
Round 9 in the fight between the two will go down as an absolute barnstormer and possibly the very best round of 2016.

There’s been plenty of exciting rounds in 2016 but thought we’d point this one out as one that may have gone slightly under the radar as the year comes to an end.
