Charles Martin on Anthony Joshua this week had some strong words, amid some bizarre videos and statements from the American heavyweight on social media.

Last year IBF heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua won his belt from American Charles Martin when he quickly took care of him inside the distance in his hometown of London in the UK.

Despite the conclusive nature of the contest, Charles Martin has been vocal on what he thinks of Anthony Joshua’s punching power, as well as British fighters this week.

He also revealed that his preparation for the Joshua fight was not what it should have been.

Perhaps an odd statement considering the outcome of the fight.

However some have expressed concerns over some of the nature of Martin’s videos and social media comments in recent times, following on from other bizarre comments late last year.

Since the two fought in April of 2016 at London’s 02 Arena, Martin has not yet boxed again.

Joshua has recorded two stoppage wins in that time over two more US heavyweights in Dominic Breazeale and Eric Molina.

He is scheduled next to fight Wladimir Klitschko in April at Wembley stadium.

The fight has already sold a remarkable 90,000 tickets.

At this time Charles Martin is not scheduled for a fight just yet in 2017.

Lets hope he can back to doing what he does best soon inside the ring.
