A concussive, brutal combination to close the show in the third round of a fight before hand that was expected to be a very close battle.
I thought before hand that Garcia would get the win but certainly not in such resounding fashion.
Kudos to him on becoming a three weight world champion after such inactivity over the last number of years.
With the win he extended his unbeaten record to 36-0 (30KO).
Some great fights now exist for the 29 year old Garcia in the 135lbs division, as he comes into the prime of his fighting career.
Names that would no doubt generate fireworks include division kingpin Jorge Linares, or the likes of WBO champion Terry Flanagan or even Anthony Crolla or IBF champion Robert Easter.
The future is bright for both Mikey Garcia and the lightweight division.
