Errol Spence To Kell Brook: Fight or Vacate

Errol Spence wants his mandatory world title shot.

The Twitter boxing sphere is in hyper drive this week, as it was revealed by Dan Rafael of ESPN that purse bids have been pushed back a week for a potential fight between IBF champion Kell Brook and the highly touted American maestro Errol Spence Jr.

The reason being, apparently a deal is getting close for the fight between the two teams.

Speaking on Twitter Errol Spence Jr had a few things to say indirectly about Brook:

“I’m at the neck no letting up.”

Which he followed up with a simple message for his English counterpart:

“The wait almost over #FightOrVacate”

The fight with Spence is probably one of the most dangerous he could possibly be involved in at 147lbs.

Brook competed at middleweight last time out (hat tip and credit: HBO boxing):

It will be interesting to see if the fight does happen how Brook makes the weight.

It’s no secret that he struggles to get down to welterweight, which could be a considerable advantage for Spence in the fight.

A terrific contest if it can be made.

Two of the world’s best welterweights from either side of the pond coming together and getting it on.
