The IBF welterweight champion of the world has instigated battle words to his young mandatory challenger from America.
A showdown between Kell Brook (36-1-25KO) and Errol Spence Jr (21-0-18KO) for Brook’s 147lbs IBF title looks like it is taking progressively more positive steps to happening.
According to recent boxing news, multiple offers have been tabled for the fight by promoter Eddie Hearn who represents the champion Brook.
Purse bid negotiations for the fight were also pushed back recently as there is a hope that the fight deal can be worked out by the promoters involved.
It’s a classic USA vs UK battle and one between two of the best welterweights on the face of the Earth.
Kell Brook has had the following to say to his young challenger in the States:

Spence has been vocal in his wanting of the fight, too, noting recently that Brook should either:
“Fight or vacate.”
It would appear both men want the fight – which is always a good sign towards one happening if history is anything to go by.
If the financial split and other particulars can be worked out behind the scenes by both men’s respective representation, then maybe we have a fight here.
Brook last competed in September 2016 when he was stopped at middleweight by division number one Gennady Golovkin.
Spence Jr last fought in August 2016 when he defeated Leonard Bundhu via an impressive KO.
