The ‘Fight Capital of the World’ and it’s resident Las Vegas boxing promoters have a new promotional outfit in town as of early 2017.
Many refer to Vegas as ‘Sin City’ but for fight fans around the world, it’s also built up a reputation over the years as being the ‘Fight Capital of the World.’
Big promoters that currently reside in Vegas include Bob Arum’s Top Rank and Floyd Mayweather’s Mayweather Promotions.
But one more has now come to the fold.
Neon Star Sports & Entertainment (NSSE) Inc. has launched the boxing promotional company known as Knockout Night Boxing (LLC).
It will be run CEO Mike Garrow and President John Andersen.
It is understood that they will be promoting a TV boxing series in the US known as ‘Knockout Night Boxing’ that will be aired on the large CBS Sports TV network.
Always good to see a new promoter and indeed TV series startup in boxing, in what seems to be a positive growth period for the sport once again around the world.
Similar new startups across the pond such as Richard Schaefer and David Haye’s UK based Ringstar Promotions have popped up in early 2017.
Perhaps a positive sign of the growth in the sport of boxing around the world once again.
The more boxing on TV the better.
Lets hope this isn’t the last announcement of it’s kind before 2017 is out.
