Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman and Danny ‘Swift’ Garcia’s showdown on March 4th is just around the corner now.
Just a couple of weeks to go and buzz is starting to build ahead of what could be one of the early fight of the year contenders between not just two of the best undefeated professional boxers from the US, but two of the best welterweights in the world.
In the run up to the fight some have debated over which man carries the bigger punch.
Both have stopped plenty of opponents in the past.
Speaking to Fight Hype, Keith Thurman is unsure of how hard Garcia really hits:
“You take two baseball players. One can hit the ball 500 years, the other can hit the ball 350 yards. They both can produce home runs. Does it really matter?”
Adding however that he believes he’s the bigger puncher.
“The majority of some of his knockouts look to be more TKO over KO and the fight is being finished when the kid is on their fight, rather than the kid being on the mat. Can he hit home runs? He can hit home runs. Can I hit home runs? Yes I can. Have I hit more home runs? Yes I have.”
Whatever the case might be, expect some massive bombs thrown in this fight that has had plenty of bad blood in the run up to it.
