UK boxer Frank Buglioni joins Eddie Hearn and his promotional stable of fighters in latest signing.
27 year old Buglioni will be known to many UK and Irish fight fans in particular, for his exciting style exhibited in his professional career to date mostly in Britain.
But he’s also well acquainted to the Irish boxing public having trained at the famous Celtic Warriors Boxing Gym under Paschal Collins in Dublin.
Buglioni (19-2-1-15KO) has hooked up with Eddie Hearn and co, and will next fight on March 4th against Ricky Summers defending his British light-heavyweight title.
He’ll enjoy some significant exposure too being part of the Sky Box Office David Haye vs Tony Bellew show at the 02 Arena in London.
Buglioni has always had an entertaining style and been a good ticket seller.
So if he can get his career back on track and where he wants it to be in terms of building up a string of wins, I don’t see any logical reason why he can’t secure a big world title fight down the line now with Sky Sports’ backing.
Buglioni challenged for the WBA (regular) super-middleweight title back in 2015 and came up short via unanimous decision to Fedor Chudinov on the night.
The Briton’s last appearance in the boxing ring came in December 2016 just gone, when he stopped Hosea Burton to win the British light-heavyweight title.
