The Tommy Coyle result is in from tonight’s TV boxing action in the UK. It was the first fight on the TV bill and didn’t disappoint.
We were looking forward to Tommy Coyle’s latest fight recently after watching this savage battle back a couple of weeks ago.
The fans in attendance at the Ice Arena in Yorkshire were treated to a fine display overall.
Coyle took on Brixton based Rakeem Noble in a ten round super-lightweight bout.
Noble had only ever tasted defeat once prior to the fight as a professional.
27 year old Coyle entered the ring clearly pumped and full of pride, boxing in front of his hometown fans in Hull, Yorkshire.
Noble started positively in round 1, boxing well behind a solid jab and going to the body of Coyle.
He landed a nice right hand in particular, right at the bell at the end of the first round.
Coyle came back well at the start of the 2nd, backing Noble up onto the ropes.
Coyle piled on the pressure with body work and right hands over the top.
Then, right towards the end of round, he badly hurt Noble with a massive flurry of combos – started by a left hand initially.
Nobles legs were all over the place.
He was badly hurt but the bell saved him, almost falling back onto his stool in the corner.
Coyle rushed Noble at the beginning of round 3 and landed a devastating bomb that sent Noble crashing to the floor.
He bravely got to his feet but could not recover from Coyle’s right hand.
The referee waved it off and the win improved Coyle’s pro record to 23-4-11KO.
