David Lemieux vs Curtis Stevens goes down tonight in the main event in this weekend’s US boxing action in Verona, New York tonight.
Both men made weight at the first time of trying at the middleweight (160lbs) limit and with a combined 53 knockouts and trigger happy punching style between them, tonight could make for some interesting viewing indeed.
Both guys love to come forward and although do possess sound boxing ability when they want to, with Lemieux perhaps having the edge there, tonight will probably see more fighting than boxing in truth.
It’s just how they tend to role.
Bookmakers have Leimieux a slight favorite but don’t be fooled by that. It’s a very competitive fight if Stevens turns up.
Both men look to be in tip top shape too.
The two fighters know what it’s like to feel the wrath of division kingpin Gennady Golovkin in recent years but come into the fight tonight on the back of two wins each.
