The Michael Conlan vs Tim Ibarra full fight video is below following a big night of boxing in Madison Square Garden.
An electric atmosphere could be observed tonight in New York as a new fighting Irish hero was born in Mick Conlan.
Conlan started off the fight slow but found his range as the fight went on. He was throwing plenty of punches early on mind you. It just took him a little time to find his range.
Once he did though, it was curtains for Ibarra who couldn’t get off the ropes and escape Conlan’s pounding. A very workman like pro debut performance and job done all in all.
Perhaps when he reviews the tape he might look to use his jab more a bit in his second fight. But he will certainly be very happy with a stoppage win on his pro debut.
As will his trainer Manny Robles.
Walked out to the ring by Conor McGregor the buzz in the air was quite something to behold. A true Patrick’s day boxing bonanza in every sense.
Michael Buffer announced Conlan as the winner on his professional debut after three rounds of action. Conlan goes 1-0 (1KO) and is rumored already to have a fight lined up in next in Boston.
