A 17 year old amateur boxer dies in a tragic night of amateur boxing in the UK this past Friday night where a young man lost his life following a bout.
Ed Bilbey, aged 17, passed away following a bout on Friday night in the UK where the young boxer was taken to hospital a short time afterwards.
The young man was from Ripley in Debyshire in the UK and had fought a friend of his in an amateur bout this past Friday night in the UK.
Shortly after the bout ended, it is understood that the referee raised the hand of the winner of the contest after which Ed Bilbey collapsed.
He was then rushed to hospital but sadly passed away upon arriving to the hospital.
