Katie Taylor dominates again as she chalks in second fight back to back in less than three weeks.
Katie Taylor Dominates Again
The 30 year old Irish boxer was fighting a former world title challenger tonight in her fourth professional fight against Milena Koleva of Bulgaria.
Fresh off the back of a stoppage win on March 4th at London’s 02 Arena at the David Haye vs Tony Bellew show, Taylor chalked in another solid win tonight.
It was her first scheduled 8 round bout tonight at super-featherweight.
The Irish boxer started off the bout on the front foot, moving forward with intent in a feeling out type of first three minutes.
The 2nd round saw another positive one for Taylor who landed some solid right hands.
More pressure came from the Irish boxer in the third, almost smothering her work a little at times as she clearly wanted to land heavy bombs on Koleva.
Taylor showed her combination punching at the beginning at the fourth. Koleva proved to be a game competitor though – able to soak up the Taylor hand speed and punch variation.
As the bout progressed Taylor looked confident and assured, not in doubt of losing the fight. She backed her opponent up onto the ropes and simply outworked Koleva.
Taylor sent Koleva down in the 7th round after hurting her previously with a big left hook.

She looked for the finish in the 8th and final round but Koleva hung on to hear the final bell.
The decision was awarded to the Irish fight by 80-72 as Katue Taylor dominates again and improved her record to 4-0 (2KO).
