Carl Frampton and Ohara Davies get into it after Davies has some less than complimentary remarks for the two-weight world champion.

Many will recall Ohara Davies as the UK boxer who stood up to Floyd Mayweather on the 2017 Mayweather UK tour just gone. He went after Mayweather verbally and called out one of his fighters ‘Tank’ Davis.

He clearly doesn’t mind calling people out or getting in the face of renowned fighters.

The latest to come across Davies’ trash talk desk is none other than Carl ‘The Jackal’ Frampton. Oddly enough.

The two are weights apart with Davies competing at super-lightweight and Frampton a featherweight. But that hasn’t stopped Carl Frampton and Ohara Davies exchanging these verbals:

It’s hard to know what could have sparked the idea from Davies to reach out with the above, or why, considering the fact that the two will most definitely never fight due to the weight gulf.

Judging from fan reaction so far online, Frampton certainly looks to have gotten the better of this brief spat.

Davies is currently 15-0 (12KO) and Frampton is 23-1(14KO) with both men at considerably different stages of their career.
