Welterweight champ Keith Thurman calls out Manny Pacquiao as the ‘Pacman’ continues to search for an opponent.
Keith Thurman calls out Pacquiao as the Filipino boxing great continues to look for an opponent after a frustrating few months.
Initially following Pacquiao’s win against Jessie Vargas in 2016 it was thought he would face Australian Jeff Horn, only for Pacquiao to admit himself one day he didn’t even know who Horn was.

Alas, that fell through.
Then Amir Khan announced on social media that a deal was done between him and Pacquiao to stage a ‘super fight’ in the middle East this April.
There proved to not be the funds sufficient to stage the fight by the mooted organisers in the middle East, Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum later confirmed.
But now there is a new opponent on the horizon for Pacquiao as Keith Thurman calls out the ‘Pacman’:

Thurman recently beat Danny Garcia in a unification world title fight in New York which has made him the man to beat at 147lbs at the moment.
Carrying heavy hands and a good boxing brain, a fight in the prime of his career against Pacquiao at this stage of his professional tenure could be a very compelling one indeed.
The fight would likely be a US one with both fighter’s handled by US promoters. Definitely a fight I’d love to see, as I’m sure many other boxing fans would.
