Vasyl Lomachenko reacts to WBC world lightweight champion Mikey Garcia calling him out following Lomachenko’s win against Jason Sosa.
In case you missed Lomachenko’s latest master piece, you can catch it here. It seems to have had the desired effect too – in terms of getting the attention of other world champions.
WBO super-featherweight champion Lomachenko looks like he will now have plenty of options next up for his next bout.
It will most likely take place later this summer at some point.
Straight after his win last night against Sosa in Maryland, rival and WBC lightweight world champion Mikey Garcia (36-0-30KO) took to Twitter to directly call out Lomachenko (8-1-6KO).
Lomachenko reacts with the following today:
How about next week? I'm ready whenever you are. In fact, fly to Maryland now and let's do this.

What a fight it would be too.
One would imagine Lomachenko would need to move up for it to happen, or perhaps a catchweight somewhere between 130lbs and 135lbs could be arranged.
Two of boxing’s most exciting lower weight fighters at the moment with as much skill, speed and power that any fight fan could handle.
Like Lomachenko, Garcia has been on an impressive run as of late too. His last outing back in January saw him score a spectacular KO over Dejan Zlaticanin:
Fans have already been debating who they think might win a potential collision between Garcia and Lomachenko later this year.
If it does happen, in the words of Swiss promoter Richard Schaefer – got your popcorn ready.
