Not many know who Manny Pacquiao’s opponent next up is. This will clear up who exactly Jeff Horn is ahead of the biggest fight of his life for those that don’t know him.
Jeff Horn must feel like he’s one the lottery with a big fight against Pacquiao mooted next up for July 2nd in Brisbane, Australia.
Australian boxer Jeff Horn has campaigned in his home country for all of his professional boxing career to date and has amassed a respectable record of 16-0-1 (11KO).
There’s no one of considerable note on his record, certainly in comparison to Pacquiao’s glittering resume, as to be expected, but he’ll be bang up for this in front of his home fans in Australia.

It’s tentatively booked for July 2nd at the moment and all sources including Boxrec would confirm as much thus far.
Pacquiao is coming off a solid win over Jessie Vargas towards the tail end of 2016, but it’s hard to see what the WBO champion will get out of this fight other than money.
He’ll probably be looking at this as an opportunity to set up a big fight in the fall.
Pacquiao will be expected to win in style so it’s a bit of a lose, lose for him really, which takes some considerable pressure of the shoulders of Jeff Horn at the same time.
Pacquiao was quoted this year as saying:
“I don’t know who Jeff Horn is.”
Well Manny, this is who Jeff Horn is:
