World Champion Ricky Burns returns to the ring this weekend. Ahead of his latest fight he insists that he’s not done just yet in boxing.
Ricky Burns has had an up and down career. Full of highs and lows.
Throughout it all though, he’s managed to keep a humble smile on his face and keep moving forward. Perhaps a mark of the man more than anything.
He’s become his country’s first ever three-weight world champion at the same time.

Ricky Burns has had memorable battles over the years with the likes of Kevin Mitchell, Dejan Zlaticanin, Terence Crawford, Michael Katsidis and Omar Figueroa to name a few of the notable opponents on his resume.
This weekend he takes on Julius Indongo in a super-lightweight unification match up in Glasgow, Scotland. Speaking today on where his career is at, Burns noted:
“I just love fighting. People ask me all the time how long do I think I can keep going and my answer is always as long as I am not taking punishment, still want to do it and enjoy it, then I’ll keep going – and I think that there’s years left in me.”
The Scotsman’s last outing came back in October when a scored a unanimous points decision over Kiryl Relikh at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.
