A delightful gesture and Carl Frampton moment here. This young man got a surprise visit from the two-weight world champion this Easter.
This Carl Frampton moment with a young boy from Ireland will put a smile on your face this Easter Monday. A reminder of the good boxing can do outside of the sport.
It will be an Easter for young Rory from Ireland that will live long into his and his parents’ memory. This weekend two-weight world champion Carl Frampton paid a surprise visit:

Hats off Mr.Frampton. It’s always good to see prominent members of the boxing world involved in good deeds like the above.
Boxing tends to come in for criticism at times from those who are uneducated about the sport. The above shows that the participants in the sport at it’s highest level are some of the classiest you will see.
The young man in the video Rory has cerebral palsy and it is his wish to walk. His parents are looking to raise funds for an operation in the US to allow him to do so at the following page:

Carl ‘The Jackal’ Frampton last fought back in January. He lost via points decision to Leo Santa Cruz in Las Vegas. It was the first loss of his professional career.
It is thought he will make a comeback fight at some point this summer. An opponent and venue is yet to be confirmed.
Although some have speculated that a part three with Santa Cruz could be on the cards. Frampton wanted the fight in Belfast but that doesn’t look likely at this stage.
Well done to him on the above kind gesture this weekend though. A class act. No doubt he’ll have won a few new fans from the above.
